Your Healing Path

Every journey is different — and so is every path to healing. This page is here to help you understand what working together might look like.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, or trying to balance the many roles you carry, this space is designed to support your growth, clarity, and inner peace.

Here, you’ll find an overview of how I work, the approaches I use, and what you can expect from our time together. Healing doesn’t have to be perfect or linear — it just has to begin.

Let’s take the next step, together.

Person-Centered Therapy

At the core of my work, is a deep belief in your inner wisdom and capacity for growth. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Example: You’re feeling overwhelmed but unsure where to start. I hold space for you to talk freely, without judgment or pressure, allowing your thoughts to unfold naturally.

Why it works: This approach builds trust and emotional safety. When you feel seen, heard, and accepted, you begin to reconnect with your inner voice and gain clarity about what you need.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, self-doubt, or overwhelm. Together, we build tools to help you manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and take action aligned with your goals.

Example: You constantly worry you're not doing enough, and it keeps you up at night. Together, we identify the thoughts fueling that anxiety (“I’m failing if I slow down”) and challenge them with more realistic, compassionate beliefs.

Why it works: CBT helps you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns. When your thinking changes, your feelings and behaviors follow — leading to reduced anxiety and more balanced decision-making.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

I incorporate mindfulness to help you slow down, become more present, and respond to life with greater clarity. This includes breathwork, grounding techniques, and gentle body awareness practices.

Example: You find yourself snapping at your kids or spacing out during meetings. We practice grounding techniques, like deep breathing or body scans, to help you reconnect to the present moment.

Why it works: Mindfulness strengthens your ability to pause, notice what’s happening internally, and respond rather than react. It reduces stress, improves focus, and helps you regulate emotions.

Narrative Therapy

Your story matters — and it’s still being written. Narrative therapy helps you explore the beliefs and experiences that have shaped your identity and find empowering ways to rewrite what no longer serves you.

Example: You say, “I’ve always been the one who has to fix everything.” We explore where that story came from and how it’s shaped your identity — then begin rewriting a version that includes more boundaries, self-compassion, and freedom.

Why it works: We all live by stories about who we are and what we’re “supposed” to be. Narrative therapy helps you unpack those internalized beliefs so you can reclaim authorship of your life.

Solution-Focused Therapy

We’ll work to identify your strengths and highlight what’s already working. This approach is helpful when you’re ready to take practical steps forward and want to focus on short-term goals or small shifts that make a big difference.

Example: You’re overwhelmed but want to feel some momentum. Instead of diving deep right away, we focus on what’s already working — like the fact that you’re here — and identify small, achievable steps toward relief.

Why it works: Sometimes progress starts with recognizing your strengths. This approach builds hope, emphasizes agency, and helps you take meaningful steps forward, even when things feel stuck.

Holistic and Culturally-Aware Practices

I honor the full spectrum of your lived experience — emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and cultural. Therapy with me holds space for your values, your background, and your whole self.

Example: You’re carrying stress from cultural or societal expectations around motherhood, or feel disconnected from your body. We explore your emotional, cultural, physical, and spiritual experience together.

Why it works: Healing isn't one-size-fits-all. Honoring the whole you — including your background, values, and intuition — creates deeper, more sustainable growth.
